Project Prom started March 2017 by Paula Adnita Williams.The purpose of Project Prom is to help make it affordable for Middle and High School students to attend their Proms and other Formal events. It is our belief that these social events play an important role in establishing good human interaction and the development of healthy social skills in youth.
In effort to make the Prom and Formal dining experiences possible for families unable to purchase the required attire, Project Prom collects, stocks, and provides Formal attire free of charge.
Project Prom functions as a fashion lending closet with an array of available high-end fashion including gowns, shoes, and limited accessories. There is a $25 damage and cleaning deposit, refundable if items are returned un-damaged andproperly cleaned.
